Space for imagination

 

I am a visual artist, living and working in Espoo, Finland. In addition of making paintings and collages I specialize in media and community arts.

 

On this site are my paintings from recent years on display.

 

The process of my painting is a very intense action. When a paint stain by chance is correctly positioned on the surface, or a trace caused by working , these acts as an impulse, which my mind takes and starts to create an own picture. Music, movies,read texts lives in my paintings, mixed with life lived .

I do think that my paintings is like movie scenes, where the past meets the present and gives a clue to the future coming.
